The award is available to faculty each year on a competitive basis. The foundation was created in 1996, and since then has been working to raise money for such things as student scholarships, student emergency loan funds, faculty enrichment grants, grants for special equipment and athletic programs.</description>

Small lights hang over each computer, a greeting sight as students enter from the north. &lt;br /&gt;
They are also, as student Rebecca Horst said, available to Peninsula College students even when the library or computer lab are closed.</description>

Each audience member brought items of food and food bank representative, Mickey Saunders, was there to thank everyone for the donations.</description>
